Chief Marketing Officer

Part-Time | Equity-Based | Legal AI + Blockchain | Remote (U.S. Preferred)

We are seeking a part-time Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join the founding leadership team in exchange for meaningful equity.

This is for a strategic builder — someone who understands SaaS, product-market fit, growth loops, positioning, and category creation.

You will work directly with the Founder & CEO to shape Legal Chain into a category-defining Legal AI brand.

What You’ll Own

• Brand positioning (Legal AI + Blockchain + Trust Layer narrative)
• Growth strategy (organic, partnerships, performance, inbound)
• SaaS funnel architecture (acquisition → activation → retention → expansion)
• Product marketing & messaging
• Beta user acquisition strategy
• Investor narrative alignment
• Channel strategy (LinkedIn, SEO/AEO/AIO, thought leadership)
• Intern and marketing team leadership
• Data-driven KPI framework (CAC, LTV, cohort retention)

What We’re Looking For

• Experience scaling a SaaS startup (0 → 1 or 1 → 10)
• Strong understanding of B2B and B2B2C growth
• Deep familiarity with AI or LegalTech preferred
• Ability to build strategy and execute
• Comfort operating in early-stage environments
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
• Strong storytelling and positioning instincts

Bonus:

• Experience in compliance-heavy or regulated industries
• Experience raising venture capital
• Network in legal, AI, or enterprise SaaS ecosystems
